Journey to the truth

My personal struggles with religions and surviving indoctrination

Everyone is born free,

until they are subjected to the strange world of religion by their environment

It's not easy to take the path not taken

As an ex-muslim, I have committed the ultimate sin according to Islam. Now I’m treading a fine line. As, I navigate ways to improve my family’s life and protect them from the threats that pursues me beyond my own life. Yet, I feel like I can breathe, see more clearly and burden of eternal damnation lifted from my shoulders.

I'm an Atheist.

That doesn't mean I have no moral obligations or humanity; but it is quiet the opposite.

Love nature

If anything we as humans should have a high regard for, is nature. Take care of our only home and in turn it shall do the same. Idolizing man made religions and creations will lead to further destruction.

Be who you want to be

You only have one life. Nothing before or after. Use it to pursue your dreams. No supernatural force is stopping you. So, be bold, be adventurous, live big, be you.

Kindness

Live your life to the fullest but, don't forget to be respectful and kind to one another. We are all in this together. Your success can be the next big step for the human race. However, you can't climb that mountain alone. So, be humble and kind to everyone.

Escaping persecution to being stuck in legal limbo

Even though I have never committed any atrocities nor any criminal offences, I’m having to fight an uphill legal battle to prove my case for asylum to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Immigration services.

My doubts led me to question things and seek answers

I’ve always been curious about why something is the way it is, how it functions, and if it makes sense. On this path I encountered many moral contradictions. Specially with the religion I was indoctrinated into after birth, Islam.
